Now, I am scheduled to meet "mates" in Australia both at the ILCA (International Lactation Consultant Association), where I will be making two presentations, and at three all-day HUG Your Baby workshops. Barb Glare, who is facilitating these one-day trainings, is a "connector" (borrowing a word from Malcolm Gladwell's The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make Big Difference). She has a well-earned reputation as someone who can and will bring professionals together to share ideas, resources, questions and most of all, their commitment to provide what today's mothers, fathers, and babies need.
