Author, Laura Keegan, RN, FNP brings us a new, lovely vision of breastfeeding working! In Breastfeeding with Comfort and Joy there is written advise on getting started, the importance of skin-to-skin, and how positioning and posture impact breastfeeding. Attention is then given to solving the breastfeeding challenges new moms face as well as addressing The Twin Experience.
But, most of all I LOVE THE PICTURES! These colorful, touching, and intimate photos communicate that women can and will be successful breastfeeding (sometimes with a little help) and that babies love it!
I'm not the only one who thinks this book is swell.
"Breastfeeding with Comfort and Joy is magnificent. It's like having a wise and loving grandmother show you exactly how to nurse your baby."
